WiFi View / Spatial Sensing
Experimental work with the open-source RuView project, exploring how wireless signal changes can reveal movement and heartbeat-related activity inside a home.
Two people inside · one passing car
Scripted human and vehicle classification · not live sensingA transmitter sends wireless signals through the house and its surroundings. Receivers observe paths reflected by walls and objects.
The work
Rav’s developer reports detecting their own heartbeat and a moving object during home tests. The work also includes a local signal-visualisation lab and Android scanning companion. RuView is an upstream open-source project; Rav does not claim authorship of its core technology.
Stage: Experimental research. Home-test results are developer-reported, not independently validated. The animation illustrates the concept; it is not a live recording or a validated medical measurement.
