The Freewell White Snow Mist 1/4 is designed for filmmakers who want to add a subtle glow to their photos and footage without sacrificing detail. The filter is part of the Freewell Real Locking system, a modular solution based on a snap-on mount that allows you to quickly change filters without threading. White Snow Mist provides a more subtle effect than the classic Black Mist, making it ideal for bright scenes, portraits and videos with natural light.

Soft mist effect

The filter gently softens lights, boosts bright parts of the image and smooths contrasts, creating a pleasant diffused glow. It can be used alone or in combination with the Variable Density Filter (VND) and Polarizing Filter (CPL) from the same system. By using it as an overlay on top of VND/CPL, you gain full control over exposure and flare without sacrificing the film fog effect.

Stable mount and compact protective case
